High quality workshops with Paula Duarte & René Hellemons

RENÉ
Rene discovered his love for dancing at the age of 14. When he started taking dance classes at one of the local dance schools, but very quickly moved into competition dancing in both the latin and ballroom disciplines, competing at the highest levels for eleven years.
For over twenty-five years now Rene has been dancing, living, teaching and breathing Argentine Tango, and it took him to Tango dance floors and events all over the world.
With a mix of creativity, humour and his vast knowledge of tango, Rene's style of teaching will captivate and inspire many students. Working together with you on the most intricate details, creating a deeper awareness and joy of this life changing dance.
Over the years Rene has worked and taught at various tango communities & events in Europe and Worldwide, and hosted many classes and events with TANGO-FEVER in London.
Paula
Based in London, Paula is a highly experienced Argentine tango dancer, teacher, and choreographer with over 30 years of dance experience. She has dedicated herself to tango, transforming her passion into a full-time career and becoming a respected figure in the UK tango community.
Paula's teaching style is distinguished by her meticulous attention to detail in breaking down movement and articulating it in an accessible manner. Her approach is appreciated by students and colleagues alike. She has taught regularly at most London tango clubs and has performed in national and international festivals.
With her extensive experience as both a performer and educator, Paula remains dedicated to sharing her profound love for tango. She continues to inspire students of all levels, fostering a deep appreciation for this captivating dance form.
Tango-Fever
Together with Hiba Faisal, René founded the TANGO-FEVER dance school in London in 2008. Where they organise Tango classes & workshops for all levels, and create various wonderful social events, where this beautiful dance can be enjoyed.
For us building communities and bringing people together through Tango is not only one of the foundations of our school, but also one of the most rewarding feelings you can imagine.
We are blessed to have many wonderful collaborations together with other Tango colleagues in the UK and abroad. On a regular basis we bring renowned international guest Teachers to our venues in London.
Over the years we’ve supported many of our dedicated students becoming Tango DJ’s, and some of them even became Tango teachers in their own right themselves (how proud can one be?).
